The Can_Do Ministries is based on Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”, as a speaking ministry of outreach and encouragement, primarily to girls and women. Founded by Margaret Stephens in the Spring of 2005, the Can_Do Ministries offers seminars and brief presentations known as the Life is Like™ series.
The Life Is Like Series™ is designed with all audiences in mind. Young and younger enjoy the time of encouragement and fellowship. Congregational, community and corporate groups identify with simple concepts that deepen our understanding of who we are as we relate to others. Life deals some tough blows and our response reveals how our character functions during those difficult situations.
The Life is Like™ series demonstrates a metaphor of common objects compared to life events. During each scenario, a humorous visual is enacted in order to assist each participant to enjoy the lighter side of life’s more difficult moments, while comparing common human responses with Biblical principles.
